Every year when a new student starts I’m sure it always seems to them that everyone else in the class, those who have been studying C&G Stitched Textiles for longer than they have, know what they are doing and as the new student they feel totally out of their depth and comfort zone. I always try to reassure students having these thoughts because everyone sitting with them will have felt exactly the same as they do, but as time passes self confidence and understanding of what the courses demand of students, grows. Last week I spent a little time looking through the Design sketchbook of one such new student and I’m posting some of the photographs I took of her work. Well done, Nanette, great work.
